Welcome to "drama tonight"!
I believe, of all the different forms of entertainment we have today, live theatre is the most exciting. I have a long list of favorite movies, television shows that I regularly watch, but to me the energy and excitement coming from live performers up on stage in front an audience can't be beat, not even by the most jaw-dropping special effects on screen.
Why?
Because what I'm seeing up on stage is right before me, it's real, it's happening right before my eyes. Do you remember the first time you saw a card trick performed right in front of you? You were astounded by what had happened, and for a moment you believed in magic. Live theatre does that.
What about listening to a live band play your favorite song? A thrilling shiver goes up your spine. Live theatre can do that, too!
